My Shop Check may earn a commission when you click certain vendor links or start a trial or purchase through them. This is how the site stays free and independent of vendor advertising.

What that means in practice:

• Commissions never influence recommendations. The recommendation engine has no access to affiliate data. Rankings, eliminations, and fit scores are computed entirely from verified product evidence and your stated requirements — affiliate links are attached only after results are finalized.
• We recommend products with no affiliate program exactly as readily as those with one. Eliminations are never softened because a vendor pays.
• Outbound links are labeled. Buttons that lead to a vendor are clearly marked, and this disclosure is linked from every page.
• Prices are the same for you. Using our links never increases what you pay a vendor.

If you ever see a recommendation that looks influenced by anything other than the evidence shown, use the feedback control on your results page — every recommendation has a full internal audit trail we can review.
